I'll be very direct: I enjoyed the Ghoul parts of the episode and did not enjoy the Vault 4 parts of the episode. In fact, the Vault 4 stuff seems a bit redundant with the already ongoing Vault 34 and Ghoul flashback storylines. I'm not sure why the show feels the need to make every character's story get involved with the Vaults one way or the other, but I'm finding it rather dull - I already know VaultTec is evil, c'mon now, get back to tracking down Lucy's dad. Maybe this is just a side effect of me having played the “Fallout” games and already being familiar with VaultTec's whole shtick, but the show's emphasis of it is getting a bit repetitive. As for the Ghoul flashback stuff, it's interesting, making Walton Goggins Pink adjacent and curious is a fun choice with the aesthetic and time period that part of the show is inspired by. However, the real time stuff with the Ghoul and the government fell a bit flat for me; I hate judging a show's pacing in real time based on knowing the total number of episodes in its season, but there's really not enough episodes left for the show to be spinning its wheels and repeating itself like this. I'm becoming a bit frustrated with this entire show.
