Another alright Season 1 episode, maybe my memory of the beginning of the show is less accurate than I first thought. Interesting to see such foundational “Venture Bros” series elements show up in such an early episode, like Rusty being a former boy adventurer to his genius inventor father, and then how that eventually manifested itself as a deep inferiority and self loathing complex, along with the first introduction of the space station Gargantua 5. I want to stress that this stuff just makes an appearance and isn't explored very far other than for laughs, but I must have forgotten how early these show themes started appearing, because this is only the second episode.
