Some of my least favorite episodes of “The Venture Bros” are the ones that really play up Hank and Dean's sheltered, infantilized stupidity to cringy results, and this episode ends up a little too close to those share of episodes for my liking. Again, interesting to see Dr. Orpheus, a mainstay of the series, show up so early on; I'd forgotten about that. But a weak episode overall outside of some world building and plot points laid down for later in the series.
