This was a fun enough episode, I thought the B-Plot with Brock and the boys was fun, especially with all the little kids playing with the secret agent gadgets in the cul-de-sac. The A-Plot Mr. Impossible (Mr. Fantastic) stuff felt a bit on the nose; as Fantastic Four parodies go, I've seen better, though interesting (there he goes again, mentioning how “interesting” it is to see core series plot elements show up in the first season, what an observant guy) to see the show explore the concept of the wives and lovers of super scientists feeling neglected and alone (this is explored a bit in Episode Two too), and its played for laughs this time around, but the idea shows up played straighter in later episodes to better results, and I do think the show becomes more empathetic as it progresses. Getting to see Dr. Venture's circle of acquaintances and weirdos grow is enjoyable as well, with pretty much all the characters seen here showing up in later episodes.
