Well that was beyond pointless, all the information that’s in the comic just gets repeated to the player verbatim in the game's introduction, genuinely what is the reason for this to exist? A tie in comic that was released with some editions of the “Batman: Arkham Asylum” game, there are literally zero scenarios where somebody would own this comic and not the game its introducing, so then at that point, if all the information in the comic is relayed to players within the first five minutes of booting up “Arkham Asylum,” why would you spend any amount of time, energy, or money making this tie-in? Who is this for? Also its really pretty lazy to just call the Gotham mayor "the Gotham mayor" and not make up some kind of name for the guy, like I know he's gone by the end of the issue but his bit actually really drove home the pointlessness of the whole comic, like I don’t even get the benefit of learning the old mayor's stupid name from reading this tie-in comic? I had some hopes maybe this thing would just be a regular comic where Batman caught the Joker and set into motion the events of the “Arkham” game, which could have been fun, but, no, instead we got essentially an anime flashback filler episode. What a waste.
