If you were to imagine a 1994 action movie starring Jean-Claude Van Damme about a cop who stops criminals from altering the past through a government funded time police department that has a timecar that can time travel but only go back in time and not forward in time and who's based in the furthest possible future year of 2004 but still uses 1980’s technology and where the antagonist has access to time travel technology and yet can only think to use it to steal money to fund his presidential campaign and also threatens our protagonist timecop's hot dead pregnant not dead wife Sloane from "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," you'd honestly probably imagine a very similar film to this one.
