A fun, suspenseful slasher movie that helped set the genre's standards, “Friday the 13th” is enjoyably paced, with everything feeling pretty satisfyingly set up, and the film's voyeuristic cinematography really adding to the tension throughout. My one real complaint is that the final stretch of the movie goes on for a bit too long. Otherwise, a good time.
